Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been an actor, model and animal rights advocate in the US. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 72 are among her most famous movies. Growing up in an artistic family living in New York she wished to pursue a career in the field of art. In the beginning, she worked as a photographer's assistant. In the future her work changed towards modeling and directing. She won the Golden Globe Award in 1990 for being a promising young actor. MacGraw was a household name in the year 1970 following her hit movie Love Story. She was considered for nomination to one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. The film was recognized as the most successful female box-office actress in the world after only three releases. At Grauman's Chinese Theater In 1972, she got her name and footprints hand-engraved. In addition, she was a part of The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, along with other films. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw has married thrice.
