Luciana Paoluzzi grew up living in Rome along with her family. Luciana Paoluzzi's father is an Italian Army officer, and Maria Rota Paoluzzi's mother is an ex-love interest to Benito Mussolini. There are no known siblings. Luciana has graduated from her local high-school in 1955 and studied naval engineering in Milan in the Scientific Academy of Milan. Luciana, the only female of her class was the first to complete her studies. She began her modeling career within two years. Then, it transformed when she was offered her first acting role by accident while visiting her father's Rome close friend. The role was a two-line character in Three Coins in the Fountain. Brett Halsey, an actor himself, was her first spouse. They got married in 1960 and made the movie Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana was given the custody of Charles, born 13 June 1961. They divorced within a year. Between 1962 and 1970, Luciana had a relationship with Tony Athony who was an actor and producer who was greatly influenced by her performance in the movie Green Slime and based on his script and production of this hybrid Spaghetti Western for which he gained some recognition.
